Emotional Symphony
An everyday scene, coloured by emotion.
3+ players5 min
How to play
- Start a simple everyday scene — shopping, making dinner, waiting for a bus.
- One player stands aside as the "conductor".
- As the scene plays out, the conductor calls out an emotion (joy, rage, grief, terror, boredom…) and points at a player.
- That player instantly plays the scene through that emotion until the conductor changes it.
- The conductor can layer different emotions on different players at once.
- Swap the conductor after a minute or two.
Tips
- Keep the scene simple so the emotions can do the work.
- Commit fully to each emotion the moment it's called.
